Plugin: VampireBite Version: 2.0 Date: May 2012 Author: Snusmumriken ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Description: ============ This plugin gives your character a Bite-Spell provided your char is a real vampire. The spell is a touch-spell. To successfully make a bite there are two option: Either your char is stronger than the opponent (important values: strength, willpower) or the opponent let's you suck him freely if the disposition is high enough. While the bite (which consists of a player animation and a opponent animation) following is happening: - Player: increase health, decrease fatigue, adding humamblood potions - Opponent: increase willpower, decrease health There are following exit strategies: .. the time (initialized with difference between player and opponent) has expired .. player has no more fatigue (fatigue-drain depends on vampire-level, level 1 (much drain) - 4 (little drain)) .. the opponent is dead .. the opponent escaped .. holding both mouse-buttons * note: releasing enemy via holding both mouse-buttons: - if the bite was freely and the opponent has more than 15 and less than 25 health-points you get one additional personality point - if the bite was freely and the opponent has less than 15 health points then you get one infamy point and 100 gold bounty New in Version 2 ================ If you are a real vampire and want to be a vampire all the time and you do not have the notorious face engine bug (see also: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php/Vampirism) you can also use version 1 of this plugin! I made version 2 because I got troubles with my game due permanently loading an old save to get the normal face for my char back - that's a trick to circumvent the face bug: you have to load a savegame where your char still has the normal face; cast bound helmet and change the cell; when the spell is finished you can load the latest savegame. With this plugin I have a ring with that I can toggle vampirism on and off - you find it outside in front of the entrance of the darkbrotherhood sanctuary in Cheydinhal. The ring lies at the ground where the entrance-fence to the garden is. Very important in my case is that I unequip the ring before I save end quit the game. Otherwise my char has this ugly face when I reload this savegame. Requirements: ============ OBSE Problems, Warnings and Hints: ============================ - I experienced anomalies in combat with many people. - Sometimes the hostile bite doesn't get noticed as attack from other npcs, so that they only watch you sucking .. Installation: ============= Copy - paste - overwrite - activate esp .. Deinstallation: ============== The opposite of installation. But I have to warn you. Oblivion doesn't like it when suddenly a plugin is missing. I know that from experience. Better keep a save (without that plugin) for continuing with an uninstalled VampireBite.esp in the case you don't like it. Future plans: ============ In some next version I intend to make it possible to adjust important values via an own .ini. And of course some improvements regarding logic and animations.
